Heartbeet Lifesharing:
A Vibrant Community of Mutual Support
Nestled in the picturesque Hardwick area of Vermont, Heartbeet Lifesharing is a thriving intentional community where individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities live together in beautiful extended family life-sharing homes. Heartbeet 150-acre property is stewarded using biodynamic principles, and serves as a vibrant backdrop for community-oriented cultural events, artistic exploration, and personal growth.
Within our Community Center named Sophia Hall, we host a variety of cultural events that foster connection and celebrate the diversity of our community. Heartbeet’s artistic programs offer community members opportunities to explore their creativity through felting, fiber arts, paper making, woodworking, and other seasonal activities. These experiences empower each individual to develop their unique artistic voice and cultivate a sense of personal fulfillment.
As a multicultural community rooted in the principles of the Camphill movement, Heartbeet is dedicated to fostering an environment of mutual support, respect, and inclusivity. As we look to the future, we remain committed to carrying the ideals of Camphill’s vision, in nurturing a vibrant community where every individual can thrive with self direction, dignity, and choice.
